After we got home, I realized I wanted to do a bit more of an introduction/disclaimer about the photos I have posted.
I want to say that I have some photos that are of recognizable people. Some are people that purposely posed for me while I was taking photos--I figure they knew I was taking their photos so I have no problem with putting their images on this site. Others were people that were in public places and were subject to having their photos taken. I'd not sell or make available to others (except on this blog) those images. AND, if any of the people who may be recognizable ask, I'd certainly remove their photo.
Below is a map of Egypt that I downloaded from a site that had free downloadable maps. Our travels will be (not listing the sites at the locations that we are going to see:
1. A few days in Cairo
2. Drive to Al Minya
3. Drive to Asyut
4. Drive to Luxor
5. Cruise to Aswan
6. Fly to Abu Simbel
7. Cruise to Aswan
8. Drive to Luxor
9. Drive thru Kharga oasis (west of Edfu) to Dakhla oasis
10. Drive to Farafra oasis and have a night camping in the White Desert
11. Drive to Bahariya Oasis
12. Drive to Cairo
13. Fly home.
Since I've added this info after I've returned home, some will be repeated in the blogs I posted during the trip.
